Hello, my name is Pauline and I live in the village of Calverley with my husband John (and dog Jess).
We were married at St. Wilfrid’s over 52 years ago. We have two married children, six grand children, and one great grandchild.
I have lived in this area all my life and attended the Church of England school.
I came to faith at the age of 50 which is now over 23 years ago and have been enjoying church life in Calverley ever since and have made many good and faithful friends along the way.
I’m an active member of the church, and I’m on the leadership team which sometimes means doing whatever needs doing.
So far some of the things I have enjoyed have included being a Churchwarden, verger, leading family services, coffee shop, home group leading, prayer team, leading Start courses alongside others to help those in this community to come to know the love of Christ. John and I are on the ‘Open the Book’ team, and we go into the church school on a regular basis telling and acting out Bible stories – great fun.
I might add I have not done these things all at the same time!
