How to Pray each day

Dear All,
One idea that came out of our Vision & Prayer evening was to share ‘top tips’ on how to pray, what we find helpful, and ideas on how to develop a pattern of prayer throughout the day.

I have two suggestions that I thought you might like to try:

1) The ‘Everyday Prayers’ Website.
This is a really helpful pattern for each day, which doesn’t need to take more than a few minutes. There are sections on how to start each day with God, how to pray in the midst of a busy day, and how to reflect at the end of the day, giving thanks for all the good stuff, and letting go of any anxieties.
I personally use this every night. Why not give it a try?

2) Another really good resource is the ‘Lectio 365’ App, from Pete Greig and the 24/7 Prayer movement. Pete wrote the excellent 'Prayer Course' that so many of us have enjoyed doing in our Home Groups. This app has a little audio reflection, and a prayer for each day, based on the pattern P.R.A.Y.
Tap here here for iOS (Apple) devices, or Tap here for Android devices.

With best wishes, and my prayers,
Sue.
