Newsy Email #200! - Friday 20th November

Dear Friends,
Well, we’ve got to the 200th edition of our Newsy Emails!

We had a great online communion service last Sunday when Dave preached about ‘PPE for Living.’ In case you missed it, please click here to watch.

Coming up this weekend, we have an online Family Service this Sunday, premiering at 9am on our YouTube channel, on a theme of 'God’s Kingdom'.
I’ll be preaching, and we’ll have some great worship.

Our next online Messy Church service will be shared on 5th December.
The team are busy putting together another great selection of crafts, Bible stories, and songs for next month. Craft and activity packs will be available for families to collect from church next week, on Saturday 28th (10-11am) and Sunday 29th (10am -12noon), so you can join in with the crafts at home.

Advent begins next Sunday 29th, a really special season when we’ll focus on the theme of ‘Light in the Darkness’, as we look for the coming of our Saviour, bringer of joy, hope, and peace.
Last week we provided a link to some Advent posters that you can print, colour-in, and display in your windows, so that we can celebrate the Christian themes of Advent. If you missed it, please click here to read Newsy Email #199.

We’ll have our special Advent banner up by Advent Sunday, some ‘Light in the Darkness’ in the trees outside church, and cards ready for you to invite your friends and neighbours to our special Christmas services by next week, so look out for more details soon about how you can collect them.
We also have an exciting project to send out special Bible verses each day during Advent, so we can enter into this season together... watch this space!

Our Church will continue to be open for private prayer on Sunday mornings, 10am-12pm, whilst we are still in Lockdown.

Every blessing,
Revd Sue

And finally, an exciting message from Robin:
I'd like to share a video message with you that I've been working on and just released this morning. It was recorded in our beautiful church, whilst I was painting a picture of Jesus and talking about him.
The video is called 'Painting Jesus During Lockdown', and I hope it's engaging enough for you to share with your friends and family.
We'd love hundreds of people to watch it!
