Newsy Email #206 - Thursday 31st December

A New Year prayer from Robin:

Lord God, Heavenly Father,
As a New Year begins,
So may a new life begin for me.
A new door open,
A new day dawn,
A new pathway beckon.
And as I progress through each day and month,
May you lead me,
Go ahead of me,
Follow behind me,
And travel by my side.
Amen.

Dear Friends,
It was lovely to have so many of you join us in person or online for our Christmas services.
If you missed them, you can catch up via our YouTube channel.

We are looking forward to our first services of 2021, on Sunday 3rd January at 9am and at 11am. Both will be Communion, and Robin will be preaching.
Children and families are especially welcome at 11am.
You don’t need to pre-book, and we continue to have full COVID-secure measures in place, so we hope that everyone will feel safe coming to church, but if you are unable to come in person, you are welcome to join us live at 11am on our YouTube channel.

Next Wednesday, 6th January, is the feast of Epiphany, a really significant date in the church’s calendar, and a joyful day, so we are going to celebrate it with a short mid-week Communion service in church, at 10:30am.
Do come and join us if you can.

As we say goodbye to 2020, and look forward with hope to 2021, may God bless us with his joy.
Revd Sue.
