Newsy Email #212 - Friday 12th February

Dear Friends,
It’s been lovely to see a bit of sunshine this week as well as the snow.

Last Sunday I spoke about the disciples ‘leaving their nets behind’ when Jesus called them, and how Jesus is calling us to follow him now in new ways, as a church, and as individuals. If you missed it, you can catch up here.

Messy Church went really well last Saturday, so many thanks to the team, who are already planning for the next one in March!
You can still catch this month’s Messy Church online here.

This coming Sunday, 14th February, Robin will be preaching on loving each other, and God’s love for us, so we do hope that you can join us at 9am on our YouTube channel so we can all worship together. You could also catch up with the service later in the day if you prefer.
We’d love to have more people joining Robin and others for ‘after church online coffee’ on Sundays, so if can make it, please click here at 11am on Sunday morning. You don’t have to stay for the whole 45 minutes, come for as long or as short a time as you wish.

There’s been a lovely sense of sharing our church family news in the online services. If you have any good news of a birthday, an anniversary, or any other special news, do let me know on [email protected] so we can share it on Sunday.

Welcome to Matt, who joins our online Morning Prayer team next week, as we continue to explore the Jesus 100 readings in our daily prayers.
Why not join us at 8am every weekday on our YouTube channel.

Finally, if you are getting tired of winter, why not make yourself a cuppa and watch ‘A Winter Wander’ reflection by Brian Draper here.

So may God bless us, refresh us in these wintery days, and pour out his love upon us and within us!
Revd Sue
