Calverley Remembers
Suddenly the wheel seems to be turning,
Snow drops giving way to daffodils,
Birds flitting around with joyful animation,
Blue breezy skies,
And the numbers are coming down.
We know that COVID is still here,
Still bringing grief to many,
But the wheel is turning,
‘There is balm in Gilead’.

Next Sunday 7th March we re-open the church with a very special service at 10:30am. We shall be remembering and re-emerging. A service of lament, but also of hope. You can book your place by emailing [email protected].

Then a week later it is Mothering Sunday. Rejoicing and giving thanks.
We shall be in church again, with services at 9am and at 11am, so do book a place and come along expectantly.

From 7th March our Sunday services will be live streamed again, so if you are unable to come in person you can still join us live online via our YouTube channel at the advertised service time.

On Tuesday 9th March we begin our Men’s Lenten group.
We shall be gathering online for three Tuesday nights to think about different men and their encounters with Jesus.

The wheel is turning,
