Newsy Email #222 - Saturday 17th April

Dear Friends,

The sadness of leaving, and the joy of new beginnings
Most of you will know by now that our great and amazing curate, Sue, is soon to depart. We will miss her greatly, not just for what she does, but for who she is.
Sue’s final Sunday is 16th May. So please can I ask you all to put that date in your diary so we can all be there to say farewell and to pray for the wonderful new beginning she is making in ministry at Kirkby Malham.

A Wonderful ‘Hello’
After a long time of waiting, we have found and appointed a fantastic office administrator. She is Sally Corbin-Smith and she started work this week.
She is already making a great impact with us and is going to be a great blessing to the whole church. So, welcome to Sally!

Finally, I think it's important now, that we re-gather as a church and find a new sense of direction. We are already looking at setting up the coffee shop and Saturday Service again, so things are moving.
But the first step, I am sure, is the coming together of the St. Wilfrid’s flock.
If you have not been able to get along to church yet, may I encourage you then this Sunday at either 9am or 11am? We're going to have a great morning as we think about being filled with the Spirit of the resurrected Jesus.
If you're still unable to attend, then our 11am Family Communion service will still be livestreamed to our YouTube channel.

Blessings,
Robin
