Newsy Email #223 - Friday 23rd April

Hi Everyone,

I hope you are all enjoying the sunshine. I haven't been in the woods for a while, but I presume that by now all the muddy paths have dried up and the bluebells are appearing. As a rather nice experience of nature in Calverley, I sat on an evening in the churchyard this week and enjoyed watching a beautiful pair of goldfinches.

I hope you're also enjoying the gradual coming together of the flock or flocks of St Wilfrid's. Congregations are re-forming, new people are appearing, and the PCC have made great plans for the late spring and early summer.

However, I am a little bit concerned about the 11am service, so if you are normally part of this congregation you might like to think about returning to Church. I realise that lots of people are still having to isolate for various reasons, but it would be lovely to see you soon.

Coming up this Sunday we have a 9am Communion service, and an 11am Family service. Sue will be preaching on the miraculous catch of fish, and what happens when we have Jesus in our lives.

God bless,
Robin
