Newsy Email #230 - Thursday 10th June

I don’t know if you've ever read The Wind in the Willows. It's one of my favourite books and it begins with the mole decorating his hole/home and feeling the call of sunny days. I feel something similar in St. Wilfrid’s at the moment:
• People are gradually coming back to church.
• Our children’s work is up and running again.
• The organ is being restored.
• A new vicar is on the way.

And to lead and accompany us all on this journey into new life we're going to be reading Acts 28 starting next week. That is twenty-eight stories, one from each chapter of this inspiring and challenging book of the early church.
Look out for the first week's readings sent on Sunday afternoon.

“Will you not revive us again, that your people may rejoice in you”.
Psalm 85:6

Following on from last Sunday’s service, wasn’t Jonathan great in telling us all about the organ and our new restoration project we're raising money for.
You can view all the information about The Organ Restoration Project online here, including how to make an online donation.

Coming up this Sunday you can join in worship at our 9am Traditional Holy Communion service where Sue Ward will be preaching, or at our 11am Family Worship Service where I shall be preaching.

See you all on Sunday!
Robin
