Acts 28
• It's one of the most exciting books in the Bible.
• I have read it lots of times and never get bored of it.
• Writing the brief notes to go with the daily readings has inspired me afresh.
• So, I hope you are all or at least quite a few of you are enjoying Acts 28.
• As you read it there are two big juicy things to look out for; one, is the power that comes from the Holy Spirit, the second is the continued spread of the Christian message.
• Read it and listen to what God is saying to you and your church.

A Messy Church update from Brenda
Hi everyone,
As we are approaching the school summer holidays, when many families will be hoping to go away, the team have decided that we shall cancel Messy Church in July, (particularly since we are still under restrictions), and start afresh in the autumn, by which time we shall be welcoming our new vicar, Rev. Rob Denton!
This will be an exciting time for us all and we look forward with anticipation to his arrival at Calverley Parish. All that remains, then, is to wish you all a very good summer and hope that you will re-join us in September or October!
