News on the Home Front
Following on from last week’s Olympic news, Calverley’s very own Olympian Georgia is now back in Calverley with her Gold and Silver medals!
We're hopeful she will be bringing them to church to show us soon, so watch this space.

Malcolm Raistrick wishes to be remembered to everyone and thanks all for their prayers. He is still recovering from his accident, but now has the use of a mobility scooter which helps him get out and about.
We hope to see him back worshipping with us some time in the future.

Rosie Coldwell now has a date for her hip operation, 2nd September in Dorchester, and hopes to be back with us by mid-September.
Please hold Rosie, Chris, and Becky in your prayers at this time.

We have accepted the gift of four sheep to help keep our overgrown Victorian part of the church yard under control. Keep a lookout for them!

Looking Ahead & Getting Involved
Our 'Open The Book' team are gearing up to go back into the Church of England School in September, and will start rehearsing in the Barn next week.
If there are any budding actors out there, why not consider joining in?

Barn Babies parent & toddler group (under 3 years old) is looking to re-open on Thursday 9th September, 9:30am-11:15am. Initially it will be one session a week until the demand for places is known. If you would like to book a place or would like further information, please contact [email protected].

As the church starts to resume 'normal service’, the servery will now be opened to serve refreshments between the Sunday morning services.
If you're able to help serve, wash up, or maybe even just clear away, please have a word with Sandra or Dan, we do need your help!
