Asking Together

Hello All!

What a busy season we seem to be in, with our Vision series overlapping with Lent and starting Living in Love and Faith – it might not have been the way we planned the year to start, but it certainly gives us LOTS of material for this week’s A.M.A.! I hope these events become a regular termly feature, a way for us all to hear what the issues are at the heart of the community.
I love having the opportunity to wrestle with the real questions of life, however big or small they seem to others, they are all big when we are wondering them! I also love having the chance to do it all together – I am certainly not the only one with answers on many topics. In fact, sometimes all I have is more questions of my own! So let me encourage you, whatever is making you wonder about life and faith at the moment, bring it to the rest of us, so that we can learn together. There are no stupid questions!

Email me ([email protected]) and feel free to keep it anonymous if you prefer. You could also let me know which service you’re likely to be at so we can answer it when you’re there.

For those keeping me accountable to my Lenten habit of gratitude, this week I have been grateful for several random beautiful conversations in the street, for in-laws who love to garden, for blossom, and for people’s encouraging words.

God Bless,
Rob

This Sunday's A.M.A.
At both services this Sunday it’s your next chance to A.M.A.!
Come and Ask Me Anything about life, church, and faith.
It would be great to hear anything related to our recent sermons of vision, gifts, and discipleship, but the door is wide open! Bring questions on the day or email [email protected] before Sunday morning.

Living in Love & Faith (Week 2) - Tuesday 15th March, 7-9pm
It’s not too late to join the Living in Love & Faith course, which is also being run by many of our Small Groups. Pop along on Tuesday evening at 7pm and explore what it means to live in love and faith together as a Church.
The course explores how questions about identity, sexuality, relationships, & marriage fit within the bigger picture of the good news of Jesus Christ.
This is a safe place to explore questions with each other.
The remaining dates for the course are 15th & 22nd March, and 19th & 26th April. To book a place on the course, please email [email protected] or just come along!

Time & Talent Commitment Day - 20th March
Following on from our Vision Time & Talent event we will be having a ‘Commitment Day’ during the services on Sunday 20th March.
This is your opportunity to pledge your Time or Talent.
Bring your completed form along to the service please!
In case you didn't get one last Sunday, you can download a copy of the form from our website here.
