Wow, what a fantastic week we’ve had! Services galore, crafty prayer, feet washing, agape meal, the Easter Trail, stations at the cross, culminating with our celebration service on Easter Day. It was great to see so many coming to St. Wilfrid’s, Calverley to worship and celebrate Jesus. We hope you enjoyed it and felt the ‘buzz’ about church and that it encourages you to come again... and again!

Easter Flowers

Living in Love & Faith
Our final session takes place next Tuesday at 7pm in church.
Following on from this, on Tuesday 10th May at 7pm in church, we’ll be having a LILAF A.M.A. That’s an ‘Ask Me Anything’ about Living in Love & Faith.
So if you have a question about identity, sexuality, relationships or marriage this is a safe place to ask it. You don’t have to have come to the sessions to attend this one. Open to all.

Schools Outreach
We are so pleased our Open the Book team has been able to go back into the local C of E school. The team use drama, props, costumes, and even the children themselves to present bible stories in lively and informative ways.
If you would like to be involved, please speak to Margaret Roundhill.
Next week, Brenda is busy hosting classes of children from the C of E school in. In church they will be completing The Heritage Trail or The Stained-Glass Window Trail. This enables the children to learn more about the church as a special building and a place of worship.

T.A.G.
The “Tuesday Afternoon Group” invites you to “TAG” along with us for some faith-filled fun and fellowship. The group is next meeting on Tuesday 3rd May 1.30pm in church. All welcome.

Calverley Millennium Walk – Saturday 7th May, 11am
Join in ‘Beating the Bounds’ - a traditional 8 mile walk around the boundaries of Calverley undertaken by the villagers to reinforce the traditional extents of the village. Sponsored by Calverley Rotary Club, this year it's raising money for the Ukraine appeal. Starting & finishing at The Calverley Arms, it's a scenic route, hilly in places, passing through livestock fields and can be muddy. For more information & sponsorship forms, please speak to David Williams.

Messy Church May
Our next Messy Church is on Saturday 14th May, 3-4:30pm in church.

Our Annual Parochial Church Meeting will be held in church after the service on Sunday 8th May, at 12:30pm. Open to all, do come along.

PCC Nominations
Nominations are open for election to join our PCCParochial Church Council).
