Faith In God’s Hands

You may have heard we held a coffee morning in church last week for a group of ladies of different faiths and backgrounds from the surrounding area.
This came about after we were invited to one hosted by the Bradford South Muslim Women’s Association. That first meeting saw six of us gather and then there were nine, and then most recently, twelve. Steadily the group is growing but where it is going? I’m not sure!

We chat, eat, and are forming new friendships with ladies who we may otherwise not have met. Our backgrounds are different, our faith is different, yet we still connect and find common ground. At this time, I’m praying about it, leaving it in God’s hands, and I look forward to seeing where it goes. If any ladies would like to join us at the next coffee morning, just let me know!

Love & Blessings,
Sally

Tabletop Sale
Thank you to everybody who generously supported our Tabletop Sale last weekend. Whether it was by selling or buying, over £400 was raised for church funds.

Sunday Services
This week sees the start of ‘Generosity Week’ in church. We will reflect on God’s Generosity towards us, how we are generous, and how we can be more generous in our daily lives. We welcome you to join us in worship at 9:15am for our Traditional Service with Communion, or at 11am for our Family Service with childrens groups. As usual, tea & coffee is available between the services, so stay behind or come a little earlier for a cuppa & a chat.
Why not bring your own mug – make a difference one paper cup at a time!

Go Deeper
Our new 'Go Deeper' notes are a chance to look at issues from that week’s sermon in some more detail, and to help us engage with how our faith and our lives work together. If you would like to receive these weekly notes, please click here to sign up.
