Sunday 30th April Tomorrow morning have our 'All-In @ 10' Joint Communion Service. Lead by Naomi & Rob, there’ll be a mix of old and new, something from both services and something for all ages, including communion. Children will be staying in and after the service we invite you to stay for cuppa and a chat.
Annual Parochial Church Meeting Our APCM is next Tuesday 2nd May. Please arrive in church by 6:50pm for a prompt start at 7pm. A copy of the Annual Report & Financial Statements of the PCC for the year ended 31st December 2022 is available to view in church, but please do not remove these copies from church.
Nominations We're still looking for wardens, if you feel this is your calling please speak to Rob. We also still have a couple of spaces on the PCC. If you would like to be nominated, please complete a form, available at the back of church in the green folder. We also have a vacancy for a Deanery Synod rep, any member of our church who is on the electoral roll can be nominated to be our rep, and they can also be co-opted onto the PCC. Forms also available at the back of church. Please return nominations to Sally. *Note: The nominee must consent to serve. Please check eligibility.*
Youth Drop-in Continues to meet on Wednesdays in church. If you're in High School Years 7-10 and want to come and hang out, get toasted snacks and catch up with each other in a safe space, we’re open between 3:30-4:30pm.
An Hour of Quiet As we have two Bank Holiday Monday’s coming up on 1st & 8th May, our Hour of Quiet Service will not be on. It will resume on Monday 15th May at 12pm in church.
The Kings Coronation On Sunday 7th May, the weekend of the Kings Coronation, we have a joint service at 10am followed by a cream tea. Then, on Monday 8th May our Bellringing Team will ring a full peal, this will last about 3 hours but, if successful, it will be only the second peal this millennium! You may have heard the team practising on St. Georges Day when they rang a quarter peal. We are blessed and thankful to have the team at St. Wilfrid’s keeping up the tradition.
Clothes Swap After the success of last year’s clothes swap, we will be having another one very soon! Get sorting those wardrobes out! More details to follow next week.
Bring & Share Lunch ‘Let’s Eat Together’ - Our next bring & share lunch will be on Sunday 21st May. Details to follow soon!
