Hello all,

 

I hope you’re all well. There’s a lot coming up!

 

This Wednesday the Parenting Teenagers Course starts at 7pm in Church.
If people could bring a few cakes to support it, that would be great. 

 

On the same night, at 7:30pm at Cost Coffee, Greengates, Robin Gamble is running a 'Costa God Night'. It’s going to be terrific. Bring along a friend or come on your own to explore the Christian faith and laugh.

 

Then our big 'Bring a Friend Weekend' kicks off next Friday night at 6:30pm with a film, The Greatest Showman, the sing-along version! It’s good family fun.

 

We then have 'Trips up the Tower' at 10:30am on Saturday 22nd.

 

At 3pm, a 'Dads and Kids Football Match', followed by our regular 5:30pm Saturday Communion Service.

 

At 7:30pm a brilliant 'Quiz Night' in Church.

 

Sunday morning services as normal (9am & 10:45am), but then a Pet Service at 3pm in the afternoon.

 

The clue’s for next weekend is in the title: 'Bring a Friend'.

There is no cost to any of the events but people can make a pay-as-you-feel donation if they wish.

 

We are expecting 6 adults to be confirmed on 7th October with Bishop Chris and one baptism. Remember, it’s a joint service at 10:45am.

Coming back to this evening, we have our Creative 'Family Service' at 5:30pm, and the theme is 'Flourishing'. It’s going to be lots of fun.

 

In the morning we look at how we speak with people and pick up some tips from James and Jesus.

 

So, lots to give thanks for and look forward to next week!
