Sunday 28th May This Sunday it’s Pentecost and we’d like you to come in bright coloured clothes to celebrate! It’s a joint service at 10am so that means there’ll be something for all. The children will be staying in and as usual we’ll have refreshements available after the service.
Ring for the King Don’t forget on Bank Holiday Monday 29th May, starting at 10am the bell ringing team will attempt another full peal. We’ll update you next week on how it went.
Songs of Praise - Sunday 25th June, 6pm Come and sing some of your favourite hymns, augmented by our St. Wilfrid’s singers - a lovely way to spend a summer’s evening. Afterwards, refreshments will be served. This is a free event and no booking required. Rehearsals for the choir will be 6-7pm in church on Thursday 1st June, Thursday 8th June, Tuesday 13th June, & Thursday 22nd June.
Youth Drop-in Continues to meet on Wednesdays in church. If you're in High School years 7-10 and want to come and hang out, get toasted snacks, and catch up with each other in a safe space, we’re open between 3:30-4:30pm. This next half term we’re welcoming Year 6 too! Come and get to know some people before the big move to wherever you’re going next year!

Communion Table Flowers The Flower Rota for July - December is now ready to collect from your Pigeonholes. Three additional dates have become available & we would be very grateful for some volunteers otherwise the Pedestal’s on the Altar will be bare. The dates are 18th June, 9th July, & 23rd July. Confirmation Course Our next course is for anyone aged 7 or over who would like to take communion, exploring the basic of the church’s faith. We will be running this from 12:30-2:30pm on 9th & 16th July in Church. Anyone interested should contact [email protected]
Clothes Swap Numbers at the clothes swap were disappointing but those that attended got some great swaps. A big thanks to all who helped on the day and those who donated baked goods!
