You may have noticed our sheep, Mary & Emma, looking a little scruffy recently as they shed their fleeces. It’s a natural process for this breed and nothing to worry about! Also, the vet was called this week as Mary was limping. It turns out one of her hoof glands was infected.
With a good clean and some antibiotics this should soon clear up. The vet also checked her teeth (which are only on the lower jaw) and said they were in good nick, nothing broken or missing, and her hoofs were in good order too.
Thanks as always to the team of volunteers who feed and look after the sheep, whatever the weather!

You are welcome to come and worship with us, and afterwards enjoy a coffee and a chat.

Calverley Carnival – 2nd September
We’re going to be joining in as a church and will be looking for all sorts of help. Would you like to drum up trade for soak-the-vicar? (Rob will be in the stocks!) Perhaps you'd like to pray for people's pets or hand out fliers?

Tuesday Afternoon Group
T.A.G. continue to meet over the summer at 11am in The Barn every Tuesday.
They meet on the 1st, 3rd, & 5th Tuesday of every month and will next meet on 29th August. This is a friendly group who share a light lunch and enjoy faith & fellowship together. If you’d like to join them, please speak to Sue Ward or contact the [email protected]
