Newsy Email - Friday 9th November
Hi all,

Just wanted to let you know about a couple of things coming up.

Firstly, tomorrow there will be a short reflective 5:30pm service. It will have the theme of remembrance, though a little different to Sunday.

And then for Sunday; a reminder that for early risers, the bagpipes will be played in the Churchyard at 6am.
For those coming to the Cenotaph in the park, it would be good to come by 9:45am to be ready for a 10am start. The bells will be rung before and after the service as well as later in the afternoon and in the evening.
At 3pm please join us at Brookfield Playing fields to remember those who lost their lives in Calverley and Farsley.

On Monday evening, the WYDAN Night Shelter begins!
We need a few more people to help with just socialising throughout the evenings. This is a fun task that just involves coming along and befriending people. There remains one overnight slot on Saturday 17th to fill. I am the backstop, so if anyone could make it, that would be a great help!

A year ago, I married Susan and David Mason, and Susan was recently confirmed. David was diagnosed with mouth cancer earlier this year and has been having treatment. However, things have progressed since then and David is very ill. Please pray for David and Susan and the family at this time.

Blessings,
Phil
