And a Happy New Year to all of you!
Just want to mention a few things. Firstly, there are resources in Church for The Moving On Course to be picked up this week.
We have four copies this time, so while there will be some sharing, we should be able to manage it.
The Higher Tour Yorkshire is something for all of us to pray about. A group from The Message Trust in Manchester are going into Yorkshire schools and using worship as a way of sharing about faith in Jesus.
We have supported them as a Church in the past. To get a flavour of what to pray for and what is happening with them, please click here.
Jim, the landlord, will be there to give us a tour, and upstairs we have a big screen for sport! So it’ll be a great event.
On Saturday, we have our first 5:30pm service of 2019! This week is an All-Age Communion service. It lasts for just 45 minutes. Come along and enjoy with the Family.
On Sunday, we have both the regular 9am Holy Communion service, and 10:45am Family Service. John is preaching.
At the second service, Ali will be sharing a testimony about what she learnt in her recent experiences.
We’re also fortunate to have a new member joining the team; Isaac Edwards is going to be working with a band of musicians to develop our worship and do a little bit of youth work too.
We’re really looking forward to seeing what God has in store for everybody involved in 2019.
