I hope the new year's resolutions are still working out for all. It’s tricky isn’t it?

One of mine is to do more visiting. I want to do it because I think Jesus did a lot of it, it’s a good thing to do, and because I love doing it.

 

Last night was the Launch for Leeds and Bradford of the Higher Tour at Pudsey Parish Church. A small group from our Parish attended.

On Sunday 3rd February, a small team are coming to speak about it during our service. We have previously supported it financially. It’s an initiative in which a group from the Message Trust in Manchester are going into schools to present the hope of the Christian faith, mainly through some great bands. Having been very effective in other parts of the country, it’s Yorkshire’s turn!

 

We have a 'Start!' Course beginning at the Vicarage tonight. There are 11 of us in total, which is great. Could you please pray for everyone doing the course? For Maureen and I leading, and for all of those who are exploring faith in new way.

 

On Friday evening we have the Mama Mia 2 Sing along in Church. Doors open 6:30pm. We don’t charge for these events, but it’s a pay as you feel. For those who wish to donate, thank you.

 

We’re not having a Saturday Communion service this week, but we instead encourage people to come and see Bishop Nick on Sunday morning.

Do come, and more to the point, let’s make this an opportunity to invite someone to Church. It’ll be great, Invite them along.

 

There’s quite a bit to look forward to. So, let’s enjoy the next week!
