Well we're fast approaching the half term break, with lots coming up!

 

Tomorrow evening, the 5:30pm Saturday service will be on, but not next week.

Both of our services are on this Sunday, 9am and 10:45am.

And on Sunday night at 7pm we have our Youth Worship event in Church. For those over 11, come along and enjoy music, games, and a talk about life and God and some time to relax together.

 

Please keep the Robinson family in your prayers in the lead up to Steve's funeral on Monday at 2:30pm. Steve was a driving force behind Scouting for many years, along with Bev, and will be sadly missed.

 

This year for Lent, we're going to take a big picture approach and look at what is means to be a follower of Jesus with Archbishop Rowan Williams' book, "Being Disciples: Essentials of the Christian Life". We will order some copies, but if you would like to get a head start, go for it.

For those who also want a daily read, I'm recommending "The Resilient Disciple", by Dr Justine Allain Chapman. This will take you day-by-day through Lent, but is not as accessible for group study.

 

For those new-ish to Church, there is an open invitation (though I just need to know in advance) to come to The Vicarage for a meal on Saturday from 7pm.
