Dear all,

 

Well not long till Easter now.

I hope the Lent course has gone well. I know some have found it challenging, but that’s OK.

 

Just a reminder that this week, on Thursday at 7:30 pm we have our Maundy Thursday service.

There bells will be rung just before in solidarity with Notre Dame Cathedral.

 

On Good Friday at 10:45 am, our Good Friday service will take place, followed by the 'Hour at the Cross' service from 2pm till 3pm.

 

On Saturday, at 5pm, the Easter walk will take place in Church. Please do come and participate in this dramatized all age experience!

Richard Jobes is getting confirmed at Bradford Cathedral at 7pm for those who could come and support Richard. Bishop Nick is presiding.

 

The on Sunday morning we have our 6am Vigil Service, followed by a Service of Light. And then at 10:45 am it’s Easter Holy Communion with 2 Baptisms.

Then lunch! 

 

Looking ahead, just a reminder that we’re encouraging all to attend an Alpha course. If you’re not yet in a group, how about joining for Alpha?

If you are, how about trying to invite 3 people?

 

Then on Sunday 5th May, Archdeacon Paul is coming.

And on Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th May, Bishop Chris Edmonston.

 

Looking a long way ahead(!), Bishop Nick is coming for a Confirmation service on Sunday 3rd November. So if you’d like to be confirmed, then that’s the next time to do so!

 

And finally, some wonderful news over the past fortnight, two new additions to the congregation!

Matilda entered the world and Ben and Tanya are getting used to parenthood.

And David and Victoria Hopkinson have welcomed Imogen into the world.
