Dear All, I do hope that your week is going well.
Coming up this weekend we have the Saturday Family Communion at 5.30pm, with our very own Matt Rudman preaching once again, so do come along and support him!
On Sunday we will be celebrating Pentecost, the coming of the Holy Spirit and the birthday of the Church. We are delighted that Canon Andrew Tawn is coming to preach at both the 9am Traditional Communion and 10.45am Family Service. Andrew is director of clergy development for our diocese and is a gifted preacher.
On Sunday evening we have a 'Forest Event' for young people starting at 5pm, which needs to be booked online in advance (for registration and consent purposes), and I gather is just about fully booked! This event replaces our Sunday evening Youth Service for June.
I can highly recommend the Thy Kingdom Come podcasts, only 5 minutes with Tom Wright. (Click here). Alternatively, the Family Podcast version. (Here). There are 11 in each series, and they will continue to be available after Pentecost, so do take a listen!
Finally, on Saturday 6th July, we will be having a Church social! With bring and share food, music, and games! More details to follow.
With best wishes, Revd Sue |
