I hope you enjoyed last weekend. In Church we had everything from Karaoke & FIFA contests, to Contemporary worship and Traditional hymns!
This week, our Home Groups are starting the 'Everybody Welcome' series, looking at how we develop a more welcoming approach as a Church.
We have lots of people coming on a Sunday, but many of them are quite new so creating a personal sense of welcome can be a challenge at times, but still vital.
On that note, I’d love it if more regular attenders also came to our Saturday evening service.
This year our Lent course will be based on ‘The Grace-filled Wilderness’ by Magdalen Smith. It looks like a challenging but very rewarding Book.
If you’d like to get in early and order a copy for yourself, go for it! We’ll be putting in a bulk order soon and you can buy the book from Church too.
This weekend (18th & 19th), we have our regular Saturday evening (5:30pm) and Sunday morning (9am & 10:45am) services, continuing our series on the Psalms of Ascent. We’ll be looking at Worship, focussing on Psalm 122.
Here is a copy of Psalm 121 which we encouraged people to display somewhere they’d see it every day, like next to your PC, TV, or even in the loo!

Anne’s funeral is tomorrow at 1:15pm in Church.
I’d also appreciate prayers for the family of Harris Thompson, whose funeral is next Wednesday 22nd in Church.
Dennis and Marjorie are both doing well but are still in hospital for now.
