Hi all,

Thank you to those who came to our Vision and Prayer evening on Monday.
The plan is to put the following in place by the end of February:

Welcome
- To help make the entrance more welcoming, a welcome board with photos and activities in Church.
- To do some training for a welcome team.
- To have lanyards with names for those welcoming.
- To trial (from this week) no charge or box for donations for coffee in Church.
- Have welcomers and ‘connectors’; those who help to make people in Church feel welcome.

Youth Work
- Promoting the 'Parenting in Faith' course so that families are equipped to develop faith in the home.
- Facilitating a welcoming environment for young people in church.

Prayer
- Have people speak in Church about their prayer lives and what they do.
- Get in the habit of praying before events.
- Encouraging members to pray several times each day at regular intervals.

The above is all just a start, and doesn’t include all that was discussed on Monday, but it’s good to have a place to begin.

I’ve received the sad news last night that Tony Coldwell has died.
Do pray for Rosie, Becky, and Chris.

Please also continue to pray for Kim Raja’s dad and for Dennis Steele.
Marjorie is now home and would welcome visitors. Please do pop around.

This Saturday evening, we have our Family Communion service at 5:30pm, and then on Sunday morning we’ll meet at 9am and 10:45am.
The theme for this week is Hope.

Finally, a BIG reminder that the Family Fun Night is on Saturday evening at 7:30pm in Church. We want a lot of people to come and bring friends along!
