Newsy Email #104 - Thursday 6th February

Hi again all,

This Sunday before and after our 10:45am Family Service we’re going to have a cake stall supporting Lepra, an international charity working to beat leprosy.

In the places where Lepra operates, there is often poor access to health care and a lack of information. The charity uses its knowledge, experience, and networks to improve healthcare. It teaches people about the disease and makes sure there is somewhere to go for help. Thousands of local volunteers are trained to link people with health care services.

Students in Year 7 at Abbey Grange Academy have been challenged to raise money for this worthwhile charity. This Sunday, Alice, Izzy, Jess, and Ruth will be selling cakes and cookies which they've handmade in order to raise money.
They would be very grateful for all the support they can get, either by buying a cake or offering a donation. Thank You!

Please be generous and give a little bit extra.

Also, I just wanted to let you know that the funeral for Tony Caldwell will take place next Friday 14th February at Blandford Forum Parish Church at 2.30pm.

Blessings,
Phil
