Newsy Email #116 - Sunday 22nd March

Hi all,

Well in this brave new world we’re in, here's the link to our first video sermon for Mothering Sunday.

As you may be aware, the Archbishops have asked for all Churches to be open today for a day of national prayer. We will be open today from 9am till 5pm.
We ask that all who come wash hands on arrival please. The seating has been arranged to follow guidelines.
This is just for under-70s at this stage, I’m afraid.
Kim has kindly arranged for the Mothering Sunday gifts that would have been done by children to be in Church. Please take one and give it to someone.

This week, Morning Prayer will take place each day at 9am in Church.
This is not going to be public prayer unfortunately, but it will still be taking place.

A number of people have said they appreciated Lectio 365 last week.
It might be worth looking at.
Either way, I would like to encourage everyone to take 10 minutes to pray at 12pm each day wherever you are for the situation.

Finally if you are able to, please watch the live stream from the Archbishop, it starts at 9am this morning on The Church Of England YouTube Channel.
More info, including Order of Service can be found at: cofe.io/MotheringSunday.

Blessings,
Phil
