Newsy Email #164 - Saturday 20th June

Hello friends,

Tomorrow morning, we will be sharing our service at 9am and then Online Coffee Morning afterwards at 11am. We are especially looking forward to hearing from Azaria Spencer, working among street children in Guatemala City.
On Father’s Day, 2020, it seems particularly apt to have Azaria as she shares about taking God’s love to kids who are either on the street, or at risk of it.
Please click here to read Azaria's latest blog post titled 'Hope for the Homeless'.
And please click here to read her latest update email.

We're also continuing to share Morning Prayer Services every weekday at 8am (apart from Wednesdays) on our YouTube channel.
On Wednesday mornings, we share a Holy Communion Service via our website, currently as part of a series looking at the book of Daniel.

• We pray for God’s guidance in the difficult time that we are in.
• We pray for racial equality.
• We pray for those on the front lines, and people struggling with health issues.
• We pray for those whose jobs are still at risk.

In 2018, WYDAN ran a night shelter from our Church. They are now based at Garforth House, and not moving around during COVID-19. But they do need help, particularly for the week of 29th June, and the following week.
Katrina is the person to contact, she’d love to hear from you if you could help, and her number is 07932 064 131. Please click here to read more.
This is most appropriate for those who have already received the training, but there are roles such as shopping, for anyone.

Blessings,
Phil
