Newsy Email #177 - Sunday 26th July

Dear Friends,

We trust you are all keeping safe and well.
If you are struggling with anything, please contact us and we'd be happy to help.

As the lockdown restrictions ease, with more amenities opening up, it's important that we continue to adhere to the guidelines. In particular, to the rules around social gatherings and the wearing of face masks where advised.
As a Church congregation, our first test of these restrictions will come into practise at the re-opening of the Church next Sunday 2nd August at 10am.
If you are planning to attend, you will find a number of safeguarding procedures in place, so please allow enough time before the service to acclimatise yourself.

Despite all these changes, work continues in God's acre; Our team of volunteers (Patrick, David & Susan, Mary, Kevin, John, Peter & Freda) were supplemented recently with help from a family who live outside the village.
In addition to the larger team, a separate, smaller team are caring for our animals. So many thanks to Matt, Terry, Tom, and Ashton who are doing a vital job in feeding and generally keeping an eye on our ‘celebrities’ as they have become a key attraction for many families and children.
If you feel you can help in any way with maintaining the upkeep of our Churchyard or Animals, please contact me.

Please pray for the family and friends of Kath Gallagher who sadly passed away last week. We will keep you posted regarding the funeral arrangements, which will have restrictions.

We give thanks to God for Malcolm Raistrick who is now out of Hospital, and recuperating at home with the help of family and carers.
Please remember our dear Brother Malcolm in your prayers.

Archdeacon Paul is preaching for us this morning, so please click here to watch online. This morning's service also features Margaret R, Fiona H, and Sue W.

Last but not least, welcome back to Mr. and Mrs. Arnold & family!
We're sure they will receive a warm welcome upon their return to the village.

Love,
John & Pauline
