Dear friends,
It’s been another eventful week with some people flying back early from holidays, or cancelling them, and exam results being modified.
Well done to all our A-level and GCSE students who have worked hard and received their results this week.
We really enjoyed our socially-distanced garden parties last week.
I know some of you couldn’t make it due to shielding, so please reply and I’ll do my best if you’d like me to come for a distanced-visit.
Let’s remember that God is still at work, and for us as Christians, drawing strength from God’s love and the Christian community is key.
I'm looking forward to seeing most of you at our Family Communion Service on Sunday at 10am. The service will also be available online from 9am.
A quick reminder of some dates coming up:
Next Sunday 30th: Family Service at 10am in Church.
Sunday 6th September: 9am and 11am Communion Services in Church.
Sunday 13th September: 9am and 11am Services in Church, followed by a picnic outside on The Arnold's final service at Calverley.
John, Pauline, and Sue W continue to provide Daily Morning Prayer Services for us all via our YouTube channel, every weekday.

Ben starts school on 2nd September, the same day we’re due to move!
There have been some complications with the house resulting in the decorating being put back, so in the first few weeks we’ll be negotiating new schools, house decorations, and no doubt a few other dramas!
Please also continue to pray for those known to us who need our prayers due to illness at this time.
