Clothes Swap This Saturday is our second Clothes Swop event! A chance to update your wardrobe in exchange for some of those clothes you no longer wear. Please bring a minimum of 5 items of clothing to swap for something new-to-you - refresh your wardrobe in a cost-effective way and help save clothing from landfill. There is no limit to the number of items you can bring to exchange - so long as they are clean and in excellent condition. Don’t want to swap, feel free to just donate! We accept men’s, women’s, and children’s clothes. Here's how it works: - £5 entry, pay on the door, no need to book. - 10-11am drop off clothes in church. - You will then be given a token with the number of accepted items. - Grab yourself some free clothes! - When you’ve selected your items and are ready to leave, come to the checkout desk. (We will count your items against your tokens.) - You're now free to head home with your new items! Homemade bakes available to purchase along with hot drinks and juice. Donations of homemade cakes and other bakes are still needed. If you can help, please contact Sarah Cohen ([email protected]) Cash & card payments accepted. Please bring your own reusable bags to take items home. Any leftover items at the end of the swap will be donated to a local charity.

Calverley Psalms On Sunday the 30th April we met for an All-In joint service as it was the 5th Sunday of the month. The congregation gathered in small groups, across family and generational lines, and wrote psalms. We were responding to the wonderful honesty of Psalm 23 (The Lord’s My Shepherd) that we had been focusing on that week, and were encouraged to write our honest feelings about, with and for God. We read a few out in the service, but there were many others, and we have gathered a few of them to read online here.
