Newsy Email #129 - Thursday 9th April

Dear friends,

Well, we’ve made it to the final day of Lent.
Please click here to watch our Maundy Thursday service, where we have an opportunity to worship and reflect on Jesus' ultimate act of servanthood.

As an act of service, you may like to drop off some food tomorrow (Friday) morning at our collection point outside Church. We'll set out the tables for collection in our porch from 10am - 12pm every Tuesday & Friday, until at least the end of July. You will not have contact with anyone when you drop off, and do not need to enter the Church building.

Please continue to pray for those who most need our prayers at this time.
The sick and lonely, all the front-line workers, our political leaders, and especially those working in scientific research at this time.

A quick reminder that over the next few days, we have a number of services taking place online:
On Good Friday morning, Rev. Sue Ward will be leading & preaching a service.
At 2pm on Good Friday, we have The
Hour at the Cross service, which Rev. Sue McWhinney will be leading, written by Rev. Roy Yates.
On Easter Sunday, John & Pauline Corbin will be leading an Early Morning Vigil Service at 6am, followed by a short Service of Light. And finally, we have our Family Communion Service, which will be premiered online at 10am on Sunday morning.

Also, please do walk down to see the Easter Garden outside our Church too, which the Lightfoot family have been working on.

Easter Blessings,
Phil
